Whether long or short, wavy and frizzy hair is often unmanageable, especially if we live in particularly humid areas.
Pre-drying
Let's start with pre-drying.Frizzy hair tends to absorb all the moisture in the area, causing it to frizz, so you need to spend a little more time drying and styling it to achieve the effect you want. First, comb your hair with a wide-toothed comb, preferably made of wood. From here, there are two options: choose a mousse that will give your hair volume and softness, or opt for a curl enhancer.
Drying
Drying is when the hair, softened by the previous treatments, can perform at its best.Use a hair dryer with a diffuser attachment, which redistributes the heat more effectively, and always keep it at a distance of 20 centimeters to avoid burning the hair. The final result is up to you: if you prefer a more "lion-like" look, it is advisable to dry your hair upside down, while if you want a more manageable wave, it is better to dry it with your head up, using your hands to help define the strands.
Helpful Tips:
- avoid drying the tips directly, as this will dry them out;
- the temperature of the hair dryer should be medium-low;
- Always carry a product in your handbag that helps to tame them, so you can look your best at any time of day!
