Split ends, the number one enemy of women with long hair, are often caused by small oversights in our hair care routine.

All it takes is a few simple steps to get your hair back to being long, healthy, and, above all, free of split ends. Let's see what they are!

Balanced diet

It is often thought that split ends are linked to bad habits related to washing and drying hair.
In reality, it is important to take care of your body and, consequently, your hair, through a balanced diet. Consuming a good amount of vitamin E strengthens your hair. If you are wondering where you can find it, we can help you: nuts, green leafy vegetables, and exotic fruits such as avocados help make your hair healthier, drastically reducing the onset of split ends.

Protect your hair from heat

No matter how good the products you use to wash your hair are, the problem often arises when drying it. Using a hair dryer at high temperatures and very close to the scalp worsens the quality of your hair, drying it out and making it frizzy, leading to unsightly split ends. The same applies to straighteners or curling irons, whose intense heat causes the hair to burn. To limit damage to your hair, you need to use a heat protectant after gently towel drying your hair, such as SPASilky Smooth, a protective cream that can be applied evenly to the hair with a comb and protects hair from heat up to 230°C.

Protect your hair from the sun

With the arrival of summer, it is important to take care not only of your skin but also of your hair, which loses much of its softness in the heat of the sun, becoming dull and frizzy to the touch. Protecting your hair is now easy thanks to lightweight protective fluids that do not make your hair greasy but restore its shine. This is the case with Hair Spray Sublime, which not only protects your hair but can also be used as a lotion for your skin to make it more velvety.

  1. Hi, I'm 40 and I can say that ever since I was born, I've hated my hair... It's curly, frizzy, dry, and damaged. I had highlights done a while ago and they damaged it even more. I cut it, but to no avail; it seems to grow back the same way. I can't find a good product to keep my hair natural. As soon as it dries, it's as if I haven't put anything on it... It puffs up and looks like burnt straw. HELP! I'd like to avoid using a flat iron to see if I can restore it a little... It's become a real obsession.

At home: If your hair is very damaged and you haven't removed all the highlights, you can use SPA (shampoo, mineral base, and treatment).
